Happy New Year!!! ???
2018 was an interesting year. Things weren’t perfect coming into the beginning of the season but I still ramped up to a Silver medal at the World Cup in China! ?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After a bad injury to my shoulder in May, it took me a few months to firstly realized I was injured, then get treatment, and finally recover. I went into World Championships fit and motivated. It’s hard to swallow things out of your control but it’s all part of the game. I took the high road through WCH and left with my ultimate goal of the 2020 Olympics still firmly in my sights. ??
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I finished the year competing in Kranj (a World Cup that is close to my heart), climbing outside, and finally resetting my offseason slightly earlier in preparation for 2019.

I always finish reflecting with a quote because why come up with something if someone has already said it perfectly before.
