Last year, I worked with @amplifierart for the Womens March. This year, we partnered on a new campaign called WE THE FUTURE. I created three portraits for the project - Winter Breeanne @winterbreeanne to bring #PowerToThePolls, Xiuhtezcatl Martinez @xiuhtezcatl for @Earthguardians, and Amanda Nguyen @amandangocnguyen of @risenow.us to Rewrite the Law. #Amplifier's goal was to get this art out in a way that would reach a critical audience of high school students, prompting them to examine issues, to ask questions about the art and the messages behind it, and consider leadership for the future of the world. It was a template created for students to understand exactly how images, symbols, and role models can play a role in shaping the future. Our goal was to showcase that we all, young and old, have the ability within our own lives to create things that make change. #WETHEFUTURE was one of the most rewarding projects I was able to work on this year. Thank you Amplifier, Xiutezcatl, Amanda, and Winter for stepping up as leaders within these social movements and inspiring the youth to fight for justice! - Shepard
