“Really excited about my goggle this year. The new magnet tech has been amazing to utilize. Quick change of lenses makes for more riding. During the initial design process we looked at a couple of different options. While we were thinking about what could work, I accidentally bleached one of my shirts in the wash. I pulled it out and was actually psyched on the way it looked. It gave it a kind of vintage tie-dye look. We searched a little bit for options that resembled that and came up with the acid washed strap. We also wanted to keep it simple so we ended up realizing that making it black and white with the black lens kept it looking super clean. The cherry on top was the custom water drop patch on the strap. This water drop logo has been the signature of the videos we’ve worked on the last few years. It means a lot to me to have such a personal touch on my goggle. Definitely one of my favorite goggles I have worked on. Thank you Smith for making the vision come to life!”
