“My Dad is a wood worker by profession. Ever since I can remember, we would take walks in the woods and I’d try and name all the species of trees we’d encounter. I find it fascinating that every tree has a different grain pattern much like a human's fingerprints, and when worked the right way, can be made into beautiful art. I find inspiration in the unknown of wood and it gives me a sense of home and family when I’m a long ways from it.”
