In continuation of celebrating 2018, here’s a carousel of photos from #Svalbard taken last May. This was a place that had been on my wish list for a very long time and when @naturalworldsafaris reached out to go, I gratefully pounced on the opportunity (Thanks NWS!). The icing on the cake was getting to go with one of my best friends @andy_mann - we had an absolute blast photographing this jaw droppingly beautiful ecosystem. Svalbard is a protected sanctuary for the wildlife that lives here, notably for its resident #polarBears. We had some very memorable encounters and the trip is one that will stay with me for life, hope to return again someday soon.
