To live in the African bush you have to be tough and resilient, regardless of size. It’s a jungle out there after all and #Warthogs are no exception. While filming this mini scene in South Africa I was on foot, getting low to the ground and all was well until I overstepped my boundaries and got charged, as seen in the final clip. It’s admittedly an anticlimactic shot but in person it was a different story, i was thankfully positioned on a rocky ledge and had somewhere to jump down, heart pumping and full of adrenaline as the angry pig peered down at me. A full grown warthog can weigh upwards of 160lbs and their tusks are razor sharp from rubbing up against one another every time their mouths are opened and closed. Watching them forage is a funny spectacle, their noses actively moving as they omnivorously graze and dig for food. Filmed on the @NikonUSA #Z7
