Another successful and even bigger year down on skid road this Christmas. We try and bring a little happiness to the homeless and people most in need and to let them know that they are not forgotten. It’s always a hard pill to swallow to see children living on the streets, and people suffering from mental health issues, but also inspiring and humbling to see so many with big smiles, gratitude and excitement to receive lots of food and small Christmas gifts. It’s also a big reminder of how fortunate and lucky we are to be able to have a roof over our heads, health care and all the small luxury’s like hot water, that we take for granted. They are real people just like me and you. So Maybe over this holiday period if you have any left overs,you could perhaps share that with some people in need even have a conversation with them if possible. It really does make a difference. A big thank you to coach Ron for another great year and to all that volunteered and brought wonderful food and gifts. Merry Christmas everyone.❤️
