a 3 day recon trip to red rox turned into a 2 week long sufferfest with @_keenan_t @jwebxl and @kevintakashismith. everyday was the same routine of going up to black velvet, freezing our asses off, and brutalizing our muscles and ego. The lines we were going after were worth it though. @jwebxl established a dope v14 (8B+) (HARD as fuck) compression line on the far left side of the wet dream boulder dubbed "Squoze." Just to the right sat an undone @ナーレ・フッカタイバル proj that just looked insane. the moves on this rig are some of the craziest that I have tried. After 5 days deep of effort, Jimmy was consistently falling on the last move and it seemed any try would be the one. I was just trying to do every individual move 😂. days went on and still the bloc remained undone. The pieces of the puzzle started coming together for me and I linked through to the last move. now were both fucked up and will be back in 10 days to give it some more hell. damnnn bouldering is the shit!!! photos by @kevintakashismith 🖤✴
