Hey guys, I’d like to share with you something very #personal . It’s not easy to say all this but maybe you or someone you know is going through this also. I’ve had very bad sleeping #problems for about 2 years. I tried cutting back on coffee, that didn’t work. I #tried to be more active and still I wound up staring at the ceiling at 2am unable to sleep. I’d wake up tired and I was getting worried I had no energy. I struggled through the day. I went to see a Doctor and he prescribed sleeping pills. In the beginning like everything they worked like a charm. I was sleeping well and waking up with energy. But it didn’t take long and the pills stopped working but I continued to take them. I knew deep down I had to take control of my #life . I got angry with #myself and said “that’s #enough ”. I went to the bathroom and threw all the pills down the toilet. That night was tough, no #pills, just me and my thoughts running through my head. I’m not sure exactly how but I found meditation. I bought a pair of headphones put on meditation music ( found on YouTube) and started to listen just before bed every night. At first, it wasn’t easy, my #mind found it #boring, but after about 2 weeks I experienced something #amazing, can’t describe it.. You have to feel it your self to know what I am talking about.. Anyway it started working, and finally I was #sleeping through the night. I’ve been doing this every #night for the past 4 months. Since I’ve been getting better sleep I feel great, and I have tons of #energy. If you’re having #troubles or even if you’re not but just want some mind #expansion try #meditation, it’s simple, cheap and I guarantee if you give it a chance and stay with it, it will make you #better.
