Every year, on the last weekend of November, Toronto kicks off the holiday season with the Cavalcade of Lights. During the event, the 525,000 twinkling lights on Toronto’s official Christmas tree get lit up. Participants are treated to a skating party complete with fireworks and live music. Don’t worry if you missed the festivities, you can go skating at Nathan Phillips Square all winter (rentals are $10 for adults, $5 for kids). #ExploreCanada
