Will you please join us and help find Chicken the declawed cat a new home in the St Louis area, specifically in the O’Fallon area. Many of you have followed her sad story about how she was declawed in June and has been limping, walking on her wrists, and in pain ever since. The cat owner said that Chicken has become aggressive and bit her baby and thinks it’s best she finds a new home. (The nice man who drove Chicken to the vet specialist said that Chicken was super sweet and didn’t try to bite him) As we know it is fairly common for cats who have had their toe bones amputated to bite, not use the litter box, and become aggressive because of the pain in their paws from this inhumane and mutilating procedure. (Chicken is still using the litter box) We want to get Chicken in the new clinical trials for a pain med that helps declawed kitties and the closest practice is The Pet Doctor in O’Fallon, MO with the amazing Dr Marcy Hammerle and staff. ❤️ So if you know of anyone in that area that might want to adopt this beautiful kitty and help with her care, please send me an email to [email protected] I will be paying for her transportation to her new home and for any medical costs that aren’t covered by this clinical trial. We will also need someone to drive Chicken from Ashville, Ohio to somewhere near Indianapolis, which is around 3 hours to meet up with the teacher who volunteered to drive halfway from St Louis.
