I remember when Harlow was a baby, everyone said she looked like was staring into their souls. Even strangers who just happened to be standing next to me while I was wearing her on my chest in the carrier. Her head was always turned towards them, her huge saucer eyes gazing straight into theirs. People would say things like, “Whoa. That’s a very serious baby.” If I was going to name the biggest difference between my kids, it’s that Mazzy has always paid attention to the other children in a room, while Harlow is forever looking up, watching the adults.
