G’day everyone, it’s @robertirwinphotography here! Welcome to my Animal Planet Instagram takeover where I’ll share some of my favourite images I’ve captured on my travels. I love showing the more affectionate side of predatory animals. It was so sweet to see this caring mother hyena gently carrying her newborn cub back to the den. Hyenas may be perceived as vicious, however, they in fact have a very complex social structure and they always take care of each other!
