"I noticed this Kookaburra perched on a low tree branch and suddenly he flew down to the grass to catch a worm, then flew back to the same perch. So I thought I would sit on the grass and see if he'd repeat the process. Within 5 minutes he did, landing 30 feet from me. After eating the worm, I was surprised he flew not back to the perch but towards this wooden post you see in the image. I started panning and was fortunate enough to get him just before landing. It is an image that put a smile on my face - it seems he wanted a closer look at me." - @scottosbornephotography
