"After shooting at this location several times in the past I had learned it needed a high tide and clear water for the composition I was after. Finally after many attempts the charts were showing Cirrus clouds with a good gap in the horizon. I arrived before first light allowing me plenty of time to set up ready to capture the amazing colours unfold before me.
Looking for locations during the day is a huge advantage so you aren't rushing around to find a composition and missing your shots at Sunrise or Sunset.
