"Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be a photographer. But I never followed my heart until a few years ago and bought myself my first ever DSLR. I have been a tradie all my life and never thought I would be good at photography. Luckily I decided to buy a camera few years back and I'm so glad I chose Nikon. Ever since I have been hooked. I also realised soon after that I wanted to do underwater photography so I got myself a new camera and found a place I call a paradise in the heart of southern great barrier reef. I also found myself loving ocean animals especially these gracious turtles. There have been lot of first times in the past few years but for the first time I feel I have found my calling in life." - @kristianlainephotography
