This week The Duke of York has continued his visit to Australia with a series of engagements. In Adelaide HRH visited the Centenary Anzac Wall and attended a reception at Government House with veterans. The Duke re-dedicated a walnut tree, the original of which had been dedicated by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh in 1956.
HRH also visited the Art Gallery of South Australia with the Premier of South Australia for a showcase of the Aboriginal art festival, Tarnanthi. Tarnanthi is a platform for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists to share important stories.
The Duke of York visited the Innovation, Incubator, Start-up and Growth Hub at the old Royal Adelaide Hospital site, the QUT Gardens Point Campus, viewing interactive displays at The Cube - one of the world’s largest digital interactive learning and display spaces and the Montrose Therapy and Respite Services.
Several #pitchatpalace events were held in Adelaide, The Gold Coast and Brisbane.
