NYC goes big for Christmas and I’m totally here for it?The fact that people all over the world take this time every year to celebrate the birth of Jesus, wow!! We may not do it perfectly. We may all get caught up in the buying, the stress, the busyness, but let us never, ever forget WHY we are celebrating! The Savior of our world came to earth! God dwelt among us??We went to the Rockette’s Christmas Spectacular and in the midst of all the kicks and costumes and Santa’s there was the ultimate reminder of WHO this party is for! They literally have live camels and sheep??in the nativity. It was so beautiful! Let’s light candles and string lights and put up trees and bake pies and give gifts to those we love and especially to those in need (remember Jesus said “whatever you do for the least of these you do for me”) and let’s take today and every day to celebrate God’s ultimate gift of love to us, Jesus❤️
