Happy World Kindness Day! It certainly feels like the world could use an extra helping lately... I believe that it’s often a lack of understanding that causes us to be something other than kind. Language & cultural differences are often misunderstood or misinterpreted. Of course, we can find it challenging to put certain situations into context the same way someone else might, as well. Different backgrounds, beliefs & points of view often take time to understand. Furthermore, I believe it’s important to be kind to yourself as it’s important to be kind to others. Opening one’s self up to thought, growth & understanding, I think, are great ways to pave the way to kindness.
