An approaching thunderstorm created beautiful and colorful late evening light. The neo-Gothic building houses Canada’s legislature and sits above the Ottawa River which is the boundary between the provinces of Quebec and Ontario. One way to tour the city is to do so by boat. Visible here in the water is the Capital Cruise ship, which can be picked up just below Parliament at the base of the Rideau Canal locks.
