It’s a terrifying day for California today. The fire in Paradise, so close to home, has ripped through taking out most of the city, and the other two continue to burn through Southern California, leaving thousands of people evacuated with no where to go while everything they own is at risk.
Last year we did a benefit for the Sonoma Napa fires. I remember as a kid growing up in Northern California there were a couple fires that brought smoke our way every dozen years or so. For the past four years it’s been every summer. Last summer we even had to cancel two gigs due to unhealthy smoke conditions. It is so hard to see this happen once again.
It is now more than ever we all need to come together for those in serious need. No matter how big or small, everything helps. Let’s unite today to give a helping hand.
