❤️? It’s #OrangutanCaringWeek and we’re celebrating our great apes! Today, Lucy is in the spotlight. At 45 years old, she is our eldest orangutan. Keepers say she is very inquisitive and good at problem solving. Lucy takes her time investigating puzzle enrichment until she finds the best method for retrieving the food inside. Here, she is working on a firehose cube filled with sunflower seeds. Her favorite items include toy rakes, brushes and buckets, which she uses to tidy up her surroundings. ?
