An October night in a New England forest, northeastern US. Enjoying the view of Pleiades star cluster (top) and Jupiter (brightest) through the trees. With images like this I try to remind you how the night sky is an essential element of life, a part of our environment, and not just astronomers laboratory. A disappeared beauty in urban light pollution, where a natural night do not exist anymore, many of us are disconnected from this part of nature. Photographed in 2012.
