This is one of my favorite images from the book, and it was one of the most unnerving to shoot. Elephants are extremely curious animals, and though I knew I was safe, it was intimidating to be surrounded on all sides by these magnificent creatures at @tierparkberlin. I stood still as their trunks sniffed at my hair, my camera, and lifted my shirt hoping I was hiding some treats.
