Law #3 in my new book Game Changers is one we will examine over the next week or so.
A serious question I pose to you - and give it some thought because there are people in this world that are forced to reconcile with what I am about to ask you. How would you communicate if you couldn't use words? What methods would you effectively use to convey your thoughts, feelings and emotions? Here is the follow up. Do you have a deeper appreciation and gratitude (Law #44) for the ability to speak and write? The answer of course should be a yes.
So now that we have established that you would agree that words are powerful, right? They can create or destroy, encourage or discourage, create love or spread hate. Law #3 in Game Changers is about understanding how our words, spoken or not, create and shape our destiny to a great extent. The old cliche is definitely applicable here, "speak your truth". I found that game changers deliberately operate from that space. Speaking from a position of truth encourages others, creates trust and breaks self-imposed limitations.
