Peter Lawrence collects his OBE from The Duke of Cambridge today, for his work to support relatives of missing people. After his daughter, Claudia, disappeared in York nine years ago – he has campaigned for the Guardianship (Missing Persons) Bill known as Claudia's Law, which was passed in April 2017. The Duke of Cambridge also awarded Flight Lieutenant Wallis, who saved his aircraft and crew following the total failure of all three engines on his merlin helicopter, with The Air Force Cross today. Others honoured at Buckingham Palace included the Theatre Director Marianne Elliot #OBE, who was the first woman to win two @TheTonyAwards for direction and was an Associate Director at the @NationalTheatre for 10 years, where her work of included the award-winning War Horse and more recently Angels in America.
