In our November issue, we explore an eye-catching New York City apartment designed by @nturnerdesign. The space is filled with a rich cocoon of layered patterns and upholstered surfaces. Pictured here is the living room that's complete with a custom sofa in a Holland & Sherry velvet, and a pair of 19th-century birch stools with seats upholstered in a Robert Kime pattern. A vintage glass-and-brass Paul Hanson lamp from City Foundry rests on an 18th-century French gueridon from Navona Antiques. The wallcovering and curtains fabric are by Nicholas Herbert.
