The World at Night project
New Moon setting in a red dusk of California. These rugged peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains are known as Minarets, reaching over 12000 ft.
I photographed this in August when the wildfires effected most of the area with unusual red-orange twilights due to smoky air.
