We made it to La Paz! We’re getting closer to those white sandy beaches we’ve been hunting!

We grabbed a charming hotel last night and finally took showers after 8 days of camping. This spot was $800 pesos or about $40 usd, not bad for a hot shower and clean bed. There’s cheaper places in town but this one felt right. The most expensive part about México is fuel, it’s California prices @ $4/gallon usd.

I love the island vibe of La Paz, slightly gritty so it feels real, but it’s right on the water and everyone is chill. Plus there’s huge variety of food here, American to Japanese, v welcome after a week of tacos ✨
