"Living in Melbourne I've wanted to photograph Princess Pier for a while. I wanted a long exposure to create that smooth water effect around the upright wooden poles so I needed a slight wind, enough for sea movement. The clouds looked pretty good so I went down in the hope of great colours at sunset. If possible I always like to get to my destination early. I can pick my spot before others turn up, set my camera up to the right heights, levels and settings. Take plenty of test shots. The more relaxed you are the better the results." - @neilturner81photography
