"I am not a morning person so sunrise and me just don't work. I had finished my late shift in the hospital and went to bed at midnight. Woke up randomly at 3am and decided to check the cloud cover forecast over Narrabeen. I've had the Rockpools in mind for quite some time and the forecast looked better than what it had been over the last few days. After a 1.5hr drive I was there and had to run with my gear from the carpark to the pools because I thought I was going to miss the sunrise!
For this picture I was focused on getting the rising sun symmetrical to the gap in the bridge.
