Today we introduce Katie Burdon @katieburdon who is one of the artists on display selected by an internationally acclaimed jury ✨Here a sneak peek at Katie’s work - ‘Two Figures in a Room’ ? ‘Two Figures in a Room’ is a study of lover’s intimate moments within their bedrooms. A bedroom is a deeply personal sanctuary for each of us that distorts into different purposes alongside our emotions - we sleep there, we cry there, we feel most lonely there, we dream there, we tell secrets there. ‘Two Figures in a Room’ presents two lovers - their bodies are different, but together they could almost be one figure. Together their bodies turn into a beautiful mess - lust, love, infatuation. They are one together, weak and powerful all at the same time. The series of images take form as a dream sequence, the room and their surroundings appear sickly and unusual - as if the bed is the only sane place and the room twists and distorts around the lovers.’ #KatieBurdon
