This very sweet beautiful Pub the @ploughandsail has been in the Oliver family for over 60 years and has a very special place in my heart. Some folks said to Grandad in the early days it would never work out as it’s located at a dead end and has no passing traffic but Nan and Grandad worked hard to make it well worth travelling the extra mile to with great home made food in a beautiful part of the Essex country side and as it was just off the river Roach they had access to some amazing ingredients like the local native oysters. I used to work there as a kid in summer holidays And I just loved it...anyway a Massive thank you to all the team at the @ploughandsail for taking care of everyone for Nanny’s fare well. Amazing job guys. I’ll come and see you all again very soon love joxx❤️❤️
