Why did I decide to stop eating octopus despite the fact that it’s incredibly tasty? Because it didn’t feel right.
Because they are extremely smart (they were actually the first intelligent beings on earth, 230m years before the mammals). They have three hearts and their blood is blue ?. They can exit through any hole which is bigger than their beak (!!!) and that’s why aquariums struggle to keep them captive. They can solve puzzles, open jars and even navigate through maze. I could go on for a while, but I won’t bore you.
Spearfishing gave me a new perspective on our place in the food chain and astonished me with a few lessons. This was one of them ?
They are apparently overpopulated so don’t feel bad if you want to keep eating them ? @neptonics_worldwide @spearfishing_reviews
