LONG POST WARNING! Fall in the Pacific Northwest got me fucked up. I’m so delighted to be exploring Oregon for the first time, what a magical land. I probably should be keeping y’all a LIL’ more updated on my route. Since August, I have traveled from Tennessee to Pennsylvania to North Carolina then across the states through Arkansas, New Mexico, Arizona, and then to Los Angeles. I adventured to Joshua Tree and Yosemite along the way, both magical fairy lands, and was so spoiled on the first part of my journey having friends and family close by! After leaving Southern California, I made my way up the state to Northern California and spent some wonderfully healing time in Mount Shasta. I went through a bit of a shock, realizing this was the very first part of my travels where I was on my OWN own, meaning no familiar friends or family close by, no home (physically of course) and no more full-time school for the time time EVER! And while that’s been for a few months, the changing of the seasons is what really made the realization hit. A big shattering change for me, and yes, scary! But a wonderful lesson requiring ease, strength, and patience. I’m now in Portland for the month, venturing out to other parts of Oregon until November. I enjoy playing a city gal from time to time, getting lost in the movement of other people living their lives, and then when I’ve had enough dancing into the forests. This has all been teaching me SO much about myself. Is it an exiting, amazing adventure? Yes! But is every part easy? Fuck no, it is not. As much as my Leo sun craves adventure and spontaneity, my Taurus moon desires a home where I can take a warm bath, play with my herbs, and cook a yummy dinner. And my Libra rising is forever just trying to find that balance. And yes, I probably should be making these updates via my BLOG! That’s why I made it afterall, but I feel like I have so much I want to share, express, and create I honestly don’t even know what to focus on or how to organize. Not a terrible problem to have, and I know I’ve asked before but what would you love to see on it? I’ll make some suggestions in the comments below and y’all can do so as well! Okay, I love you!
