Oxtail Round Two:
Had only a little meat left, but quite a bit of juice (see a few posts back for original outing). Shredded meat into it, added a little more water and some orzo pasta and cooked until orzo swollen in the oxtail gravy. Ultimate comfort food (made all the sweeter by satisfyingly using up everything) . Not quite pasta with meat sauce, nor a soup, but rather like a juicy oxtail risotto (orzotto). This will become a staple of my winter eating. And so many other orzo-stew opportunities ahead.
