I created three portraits for @amplifierart's #WeTheFuture campaign - Xiuhtezcatl Martinez @xiuhtezcatl for @Earthguardians, Amanda Nguyen @amandangocnguyen to Rewrite the Law, and @winterbreeanne to bring #PowerToThePolls. #Amplifier is working to get this art out in a way that will reach a critical audience of high school students, prompting them to examine issues, to ask questions about the art and the messages behind it, and consider leadership for the future of the world. It’s a template created for students to understand exactly how images, symbols, and role models can play a role in shaping the future. The goal is to showcase that we all, young and old, have the ability within their own lives to create things that create change.
