On Saturday at the #GCFest it was an honor to meet Hiba Hamzi and speak of her on the #GlobalCitizen stage. Hiba is one of @MalalaFund’s #GulmakaiChampions, she has devoted her life to ensuring equal access to education for girls. Through her organization @nabaalebanon and in partnership with #MalalaFund’s Gulmakai Network, Hiba is doing crucial work to help Syrian refugee children attain an education. She is also fighting to end child marriage in Lebanon and to raise the minimum marriage age to 18, so more girls can remain in school and have a chance to explore their potential.
