Started to bring in all the plants into the apartment before we get a frost... it was a bit too cold this morning for my liking, but hey that’s CHICAGO ?
Last weekend I started to spray the plants with a homemade solution that would start killing off the bad bugs but not harm the plants before moving them in... I love bugs but they don’t pay rent sooooo...
The guest bedroom is open if you don’t mind sleeping in a jungle

Recipe for Homemade Plant Spray Solution:
* 1 1/2 teaspoon pure organic neem oil concentrate
* 1 teaspoon mild liquid soap (Dr. Bronner’s unscented baby soap) @drbronner
* 1 liter warm water
The soap helps the oil mix with water, since they don’t mix well on their own. Plus the soap has the added benefit of killing the plant pests on contact, so you should see an improvement right away with this DIY neem oil insecticidal soap.
Mix all of the ingredients into a spray bottle and shake well. You can use your DIY neem oil bug spray on your plants right away. Be sure to shake it well each time you use it.
