25 years ago, @filmindependent had the foresight to launch a program committed to supporting filmmakers from underrepresented communities. Filmmakers like me, Effie Brown and Jon Chu. Thanks to their incredible vision and hard work, we see more and more inclusion and diversity in film and television today. We see stories about us, told by us. Last night, we celebrated this quarter of a century trailblazing achievement. Congratulations #projectinvolve and thank you for a gorgeous evening with film family.
