Traveling home. Things feel truly still, and quiet for the first time in almost three years. I had set down some goals, some intentions, and I was going to see them through...with joy. I did. I saw them through. All of them. With joy. I had my head down for a long time. Sometimes I started to wonder if there was even such a thing as a finish line or if I was just spinning my wheels, working to believe I was doing something, but not actually accomplishing anything. And then I crossed it, the finish line, and just like that I feel SPACE and FREEDOM. I FEEL what I’ve done. Looking around, the view is new and the air smells different. Where I felt joy, I now feel satisfaction. Pride. Happiness.
