This is a #PoachingSnare. Came across it while traveling through the #Serengeti & almost threw up. I had already seen some of the damage these traps inflicted on baby elephants ? in an orphanage.
We removed it.
It’s easy to be shocked and cast judgement on #Poachers ; however, the seed of these activities sits with us all... globally ???... because we are all interconnected and this stems from education, limited opportunity, and international exotic animal demand. #WeAreAllInterconnected #WeCanDoBetter
