In a day of great emotions for many students, my hope is that, this will be for them the beginning of a new and exciting adventure! While embracing our daughter Virginia this morning, on her first day of school, me and Veronica wanted to extend our affectionate thought to all our children and young people who enjoy this privilege, this right that unfortunately, in so many places in the world children are still deprived of.

A special wish goes to the students – seniors and beginners - in Sarnano, Muccia and Haiti. And since this first school week also coincides - towards the end - with my birthday, I would like to say that the best gift is always the gift of a loving thought, the positive energy of a prayer ... And should anyone intend to express their wishes in a different way - perhaps by supporting the educational projects of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation - well in that case they will not only make me happy but also many children.

In un giorno di grandi emozioni per tanti studenti, il mio auspicio che questo sia, per loro, il principio di una nuova ed appassionante avventura! Abbracciando stamane mia figlia Virginia, al suo primo giorno di scuola, il pensiero affettuoso mio e di Veronica si estende a tutti i nostri bambini e ragazzi che godono di questo privilegio, di questo diritto che purtroppo, in tanti luoghi nel mondo, ancora non è tale.

Un augurio speciale va agli studenti – veterani e novizi – di Sarnano, di Muccia e di Haiti. E dato che questa prima settimana di scuola coincide, al suo termine, con il mio compleanno, mi permetto di dire come il migliore regalo sia sempre il dono di un pensiero affettuoso, l’energia positiva di una preghiera... Ma se qualcuno ha per caso intenzione di dare corpo diversamente ai suoi voti augurali, ebbene, sostenendo i progetti educativi della Andrea Bocelli Foundation, farà felice non solo me, ma anche tanti bambini.
