Meet Steffi Lynn (@haveanicedayy_), an Austin, Texas-born, now Brooklyn-based artist who specializes in illustration, lettering, photography, and murals.
She loves using her art to bring out fun, energetic positivity and happiness to life, and takes inspiration from the little things in every day life that bring people joy — which, for her, includes plants and nature. Instagram has provided her great opportunities for work, from lettering to murals, and meeting other talented illustrators and entrepreneurs.
Her tips on creating a following on Instagram is to find a theme, but not get too bogged down by it. It doesn’t need to be as intricate as you might think, she says. Talking to followers and showing them mutual support is also key.

Creating with her hands and learning new crafts are her biggest passions, and says that being challenged and learning things is how she keeps her drive up. She loves how creative and incredible the human brain works, and she even once dreamed of becoming a neurologist!
