Just leaving the funeral of #bothamshemjean and it’s difficult to articulate the barrage of emotions as I got a close look at his life, his family and the tremendous loss of such a bright, intelligent, loving person who’s life was filled with as many whites, blacks, Americans and St. Lucians. He brought them all together!

The funeral was as diverse as the United Nations and everyone’s eyes were wet. I grieve for the fatality of such a rare breed of man. I pray for the justice that every parent would expect. This picture was taken at the family’s request just before they were to say goodbye to their son. My wife and I are standing beside Botham’s Mother and father, surrounded by his siblings, my good friend @attorneycrump and a grandparent.Please pray for them. ??
