The Prince of Wales began a visit to Northumberland yesterday.
The Prince officially opened Northumberland National Park's The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre in Bardon Mill. The centre is a flagship project for Northumberland National Park and the North East of England, which aims to transform how people engage with the county's finest landscapes.

In the afternoon, The Prince of Wales, Patron of @countrysidefund, visited Kirkharle, the birthplace of the English Landscape Architect Lancelot 'Capability' Brown – where he spoke to local schoolchildren who helped plant over 2,000 wildflower bulbs. The Prince then toured a number of onsite workshop units including a cabinet-makers and artist’s studios.
