Flew from #Paris to #Toronto just to see a very special #FilmPremier which is incredibly close to my heart as it is about papa Q. “Quincy” is directed by the awesome @ラシダ・ジョーンズ & #AlanHicks and is sooo inspiring & sooo emotional! Tears still kept falling 20 minutes after the film finished! Perhaps because that Q is so close to my heart, but also because this documentary about @quincydjones life has so many layers & weight in history of the world!!! ? ?? His personal journey and how each time after he had a set back or close call on his life he has risen up from it, readjusted his life and reached new heights! ✨ He has been able to make a mark on history decade after decade! Not just in music but in film, philantropy, politics and has been instrumental in changing ugly & limiting patterns for the #afroamerican community. He has opened up so many opportunities for today’s and past generations! ?The way he shares love with each human being in such a personal and authentic way, his love for uplifting humanity & talent around the world and his never ending huge dreams are just a few things which I find as a constant inspiration! “I’m just getting started” #QuincyJones 85 years old. “Love you papa Q” Baby bounce ???
