Hello Asheville!

My first time in N Carolina ever. There’s a lot of talk of using third-party booking sites for big discounts. I use them all the time.
.
But can I just say that hotel loyalty programs have their advantages. My friend @filtersandframes and I booked directly with a hotel, used my loyalty number and arrived to Asheville weary from a red eye. Knowing I was a member (and the fact that I looked so sleep deprived), they upgraded our standard room to this awesome room.

For the same time exact price of using a hotel booking website, we got a penthouse with this view of the mountains.
.
Not bad for my first time in N Carolina. Next: a serious nap, some quality beer time and a ghost tour.
