So, our school had some really cool “outings” planned for us new students (that’s what they call field trips here!) but I signed up too late for the Yankee’s Game that I really wanted to go to. ?

Well GUESS WHAT, I did something at least as much fun instead, which is going to Union Square Market with @rachel.hanlinylin.siu @chisakodaka and of course @kkubota8 (who somehow camouflaged so hard that I don’t have a photo of him in the photo reel here ?☝?)
We had donuts and okonomiyaki (japanese omelet ?), pet some rescue shiba inus (the caramel colored one was rescued only two weeks ago from a dog meat farm in korea! We basically moved to NY at the same time! ?) and Rachel and I bought even more plants for our home ??

If there’s one thing I want to promise myself to do in New York, then it is to become a better person by really getting out there and explore, and to be actively curious. Not to just stay at home because it is convenient and comfortable. I am definitelyyyy a victim of that ? so I’m going to a Jazz Club tonight as well, as part of a school outing! I’ve never been to a live Jazz Club so I’m very excited ?
