Hot summer days in New York City! This hangout spot is right infront of our school ?

Man, coming from Europe, I was really not used to this sort of school spirit with all the speeches, events, and even welcome performance that the @juilliardschool had prepared for us new students. They are making SUCH an effort to welcome us to this country, this city, this school! ❤️
———————————————————————— Originally, I thought that “orientation week” would just be time for us to adjust and would maybe include a tour of the campus, but it’s so much more than that! They have apps for us with schedules prepared, exams to take in preparation to our new semester, and if we care to talk to them we even get to have conversations with the president of the school or the associate dean after his speech. I was not prepared for this! It is SO personal despite it being a really big school (about 850 students!!!) ???

That being said, I am so incredibly excited about the time I’ll be spending here. I am looking to grow, experience, and go out of my comfort zone. I can’t wait to learn from my teacher Miss Rosenberg and from all of my fellow schoolmates ❤️ Bring it on, New York!
